Saint Thérèse of Lisieux entered a cloister at fifteen, lived hidden as a Carmelite, and died at twenty four, unknown beyond her convent walls. She founded no order, led no mission, and by the world's measure did nothing great at all. The Church has since named her a Doctor, one of the very few women ever given the title, and patron of the missions she never once traveled to, because in that small, hidden life she had found the one thing that matters. She called it the Little Way: not grand penances or heroic deeds, but small things done with great love, and the trust of a child content to be carried in her Father's arms.

The soft rose of pink jade is the color of the flowers she scatters from heaven, and of the little way itself: gentle, unassuming, and far stronger than it looks. This rosary is for the soul who cannot do great things, only small ones, and longs to do them with love. It is for the one who has asked Thérèse for a sign, and is still watching for the rose.
