Common Questions

Questions & Answers

A few of the things people ask most often, before and after their rosary arrives.

Are the rosaries blessed?
Our rosaries are not blessed before they ship, and that is intentional. We leave the blessing to you, so it can be given in person by a priest you know. Any Catholic priest can bless a rosary, and it takes only a moment to ask, often right after Mass. A blessing sets the rosary apart for holy use, so it is a beautiful first step once yours arrives.
What are the rosaries made of?
Their beads are genuine gemstone, smooth and round in the hand, and their crucifix, centerpiece, and Our Father beads are carved from jujube wood, the wood that Christian tradition holds was woven into the Crown of Thorns. Each rosary is corded rather than chained, strung to be strong through years of faithful use. You can read more in our story.
How do I care for my rosary?
Keep it dry, and now and then wipe the beads gently with a soft, dry cloth. When you are not praying with it, store it in a pouch or a small box rather than loose in a pocket with keys or coins. Gemstone and wood are durable, but a corded rosary lasts longest when it is kept away from moisture and heat. Treated kindly, it is meant to be prayed for many years.
I am new to the Rosary. How do I pray it?
Whether it is your first rosary or your thousandth, you are welcome here. Right on our home page you can pray the Daily Rosary with us, guided aloud or bead by bead at your own pace, with every prayer in full. There is no wrong way to begin.
Do you offer custom or personalized rosaries?
Not at this time. Each rosary in the shop is chosen with care, and what you see is what we offer. If that changes, this is the first place we will say so.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
We currently ship within the United States. You will find processing times, rates, and everything else on our Shipping page.
Can I return my rosary?
Yes. Unused rosaries may be returned within 30 days. The full details, including how to start a return, are on our Returns page.
